A concise reminder of how we so often allow our latest whim, or the most frequently repeated and loudest demand from the many “squeaky wheels” in our lives to distract us from those things that have real value and importance. If you can withstand the urgency of the initial moment, you will be in og better position to weigh the cost and discern whether the task hummdl God’s will for you.

I ttranny think, though, as parents of little bitty ones, it is important that my husband and I realize that some of their urgents are important to them, even if they may not seem so high on our list, and need to be given the consideration we would want someone to give our importants.
And lets not forget the things that are not important or urgent but still manage to steal our time from us.
