In any case, I do know that I came into the weekend lighter, weaker, and less prepared than desired.

The Full KB Program My Wife Is Using (and it’s NOT a “woman’s” workout) –

In the beginning of December, I had my first ‘Test Day. On a brighter note, the poor performance gave me a baseline, whereby I could apply a program and test its results.

Actually two programs, as I adjusted my nutritional protocol as well. However, remembering Brett Jones’ endorsement of Mr.

Number 11, in Kettlebell Express. A strength protocol, kehtlebell with the opportunity to condense a practice and focus on one exercise at a time was appreciated. The results at the end of the twelve weeks are even more appreciated. We’ll see in 12 weeks. For those of you who employ the program, I have several suggestions. Neupert can amend them, or warn others to ignore my kettlebfll That said, get a calculator. Fifteen minutes of ballistic exercises can equal a large amount of repetitions if you pace yourself wisely.

Simply adding a rep to each side, each minute, adds 30 reps. For example, twelve 12 reps 6 each heupert per minute equals reps, fourteen 14 reps 7 each side equals Of course, you can also play with time. Twelve 12 reps a minute, as stated, equals Drop the intervals to fifty 50 seconds and you have reps.

Using a 28kg kettlebell, my numbers increased significantly. However, I was reminded, through error, about the concept of waving the load. In hindsight, applying a fallback week or two would’ve assisted my progress. With four week blocks in mind, I’d recommend increasing weeks and falling back week 4. Minimally, take a break at the halfway mark. Strength, or rather strength practice, cannot be linear Unless you want it to be downward, in which case don’t apply a break. In closing, eat correctly.

Only you know what protocol works best for you. One week after completing the aforementioned program, a strength program, I’ve added 3 pounds of lean muscle. Though subjectively long winded, hopefully, this provides some information or inspiration to others.

Regarding that – did you actually deload or are you saying you would deload in the future? Regarding waving the load – it is waved over each of the 4 weeks – believe it or not – for 2 reasons: As the program progresses and they get stronger, they will be able to complete the numbers. Then start the next 4 week period with the specified rest Hopefully that makes sense.

I may have to make that more clear in the instructions – thanks for the feedback. Looking forward to hearing how that vegan app of Ori’s latest works for you on the KM protocols.

Well I really liked the burn express and the results. This week I started the king size program from express. Yesterday was the second day. I did it not exactly as written as I liked day 1 one burn express, so I did the ladders but everyrep was a chain with either the press or expres squat. Got a great workout. Did however an extra 9 minutes of just snatch ladders. Originally Posted by Danny Evans. Originally Posted by fdnyceguy. Initially, let me thank you for your response.

As indicated, I hope it can help someone apply this program successfully. That geocf, my note regarding de-loading, would apply to my own application in the future. Having foolishly ignored volume, density, as well as my training journal’s numbers, I didn’t de-load until week ten. This resulted in what I believe to be subpar week twelve Snatches, though using a subjectively significant kettlebell. Admittedly, it took some time and a couple of re-readings, jettlebell it does make sense.

With the two possible variables volume and densityI concentrated on increasing reps, rather than decreasing rest. With a range of 50 reps doing ballistic exercises, and only four beupert for improvement each period, I didn’t think there was ample opportunity to experiment with rest periods.

With the Grinds, as instructed, I did reduce the rest period each week – beginning with four minute intervals and incrementally reducing as much as possible.

However, that plateaued with some exercises, the Get-up in particular, during the final four-week period. Treat the Get-Up as a full-body exercise.

If all goes well, there should be a follow-up before Memorial Day. Once again, thank you for the information and taking the time to respond.
